Gisele Bundchen's last performance on the catwalk

The Brazilian model said goodbye to the catwalk during an emotional charged show in Sao Paolo.

The mother of two decided to say goodbye to the runway that made her a fashion legend for 20 years. Bundchen made her final appearance, while her husband NFL quarterback Tom Brady watched from the first row.

She decided to spend more time with her family, at the same time continuing to work in the industry. Being the image of Chanel, Carolina Herrera, Pantene and other top brands, Gisele was the world’s highest-paid model, according to a 2014 ranking by Forbes magazine.

In a posting on Wednesday on her Instagram account, Bundchen wrote: “Today after 20 years in the industry, it is a privilege to be doing my last fashion show by choice and yet still be working in other facets of the business.”

“I am grateful that at 14, I was given the opportunity to start this journey,” she wrote.

She made her final appearance during Sao Paulo Fashion Week for Colcci, the Brazilian street wear label she has represented since 2005.
