A Ferrari that belonged to Alain Delon sold for Euro 14.2 MIL.

The car is part of the Baillon collection and for two years belonged to French actor Alain Delon.

Ferrari 250 SWB California was the star of the Artcurial auction house that organized the Salon Rétromobile event in Paris. It is one of the most popular models from Ferrari, desired even more because it belonged to the actor Alain Delon between 1963 and 1965, when he starred in "Cheetah / Il Gattopardo". At the same time, the actor was in a relationship with Jane Fonda.

The sports car produced in 1961 was discovered in a garage in California, and shortly before the auction, Alain Delon expressed dissatisfaction regarding the use of his name "to make the car’s price increase."

In the same garage another rare car was discovered, Maserati 6G 2000 Frua Gran Sport, auctioned during the same event, valued at 800,000 euros and bought for 1.72 million euros. During the same event, a number of vintage cars were also up for sale.
